Dan Drizlikh

Dan Drizlikh is a composer and musician who lives in Austin, Texas. He writes instrumental contemporary music evoking feelings of melancholy and calmness. He creates dramatic and energizing electronic music that gets you moving and sometimes calming background music.

Dan is composing for solo instruments, orchestral and vocal ensembles. He creates original music videos with DAW software: FL Studio, Pro Tools, and using plugins such as Kontakt, Max/MSP patches and audiovisual works using Reaper software. Using these software, audio editing and mixing to create high-quality tracks. His main instruments are the piano and alto saxophone.

Received his bachelor’s degree in Composition from the University of North Texas, College of Music. Winner of the 2017 NFMC Glad Robinson Youse Adult Composers Contest for his Sonata in D Major for solo piano. TFMC winner of highest Monetary Award, for 2016 All State Festival Piano Concerto, Senior Class.
